A sneaker reseller is taking YankeeKicks to Miami-Dade County Court, alleging the company walked away from more than $21,000 it owed him after shuttering its Miami Beach location and terminating his consignment agreement earlier this year.

Daniel Strimbu, a Hollywood, Florida resident, filed suit May 27 against United Kicks LLC, doing business as YankeeKicks, in Miami-Dade County Court, seeking $21,914.21 in unpaid proceeds from sneakers the company sold on his behalf.
