2) Holocaust Memorial Miami Beach — A Place to Pause on September 11 (Fri–Sun)
📅 Friday–Sunday, September 11–13, 2026 — Open daily 9:00 AM to sundown
📌 Holocaust Memorial Miami Beach, 1933–1945 Meridian Ave, Miami Beach

As the nation marks the 25th anniversary of September 11, 2001, the Holocaust Memorial Miami Beach — itself a monument to collective mourning and resilience — offers a particularly meaningful space for reflection this weekend.
Located at the corner of Meridian Avenue and Dade Boulevard near the Convention Center, the memorial commemorates the six million Jewish men and women who lost their lives at the hands of the Nazi regime during 1933 to 1945; designed by Kenneth Treister, it centers on a monumental bronze sculpture of an outstretched hand tattooed with an Auschwitz number, surrounded by figures of victims and a Memorial Wall.
The memorial is free and open to the public from 9:30 AM until sunset.
