1) WOODZ World Tour 'Archive. 1' (Fri)

South Korean singer-songwriter WOODZ — the stage name of Cho Seung-youn — plays the Fillmore on Friday night, his first-ever Miami show and one of just seven U.S. stops on a world tour that has already crossed Asia, Europe, Australia and Latin America.
The tour follows the March release of Archive 1, his first full-length album, and marks his return to the road after more than two years away, part of it spent completing South Korea's mandatory military service. Expect a set that slides freely between K-pop, alternative R&B, pop-rock and electronic textures — the genre-hopping that's made him one of Korea's most distinctive solo acts.
2) Galantis at LIV Nightclub (Fri)

If the Fillmore show ends too early for you, Galantis takes over LIV inside the Fontainebleau just before midnight. The Swedish dance-pop project of producer Christian Karlsson — the songwriter behind Britney Spears' "Toxic" in an earlier life — built its name on festival anthems like the Grammy-nominated "Runaway (U & I)" and "Faith," the unlikely chart-topping collaboration with Dolly Parton.
Doors open at 11:30 PM and the room runs deep into the morning; 21 and over only, with LIV's usual dress code in effect.
3) International Ballet Festival of Miami — 31st Edition Opens (Fri–Sun)

The International Ballet Festival of Miami, presented by Miami Hispanic Ballet, opens its 31st season on Friday — a two-and-a-half-week run that brings more than 100 principal dancers from companies across Europe, South America and the United States to stages around the county.
The opening days center on the festival's International Summer Intensive workshops and free community events, with the ticketed programs stacking up as the festival builds: contemporary performances run the following week, and the marquee Miami Beach dates land at the Fillmore — the Grand Classical Gala on Saturday, August 15, and the Closing Gala of the Stars on Sunday, August 16.

Musumeci is a musical project by Sicilian DJ and producer Mauro Di Martino, active since the late '80s — his album The Gemini Project put him on the map, and his music appears on labels like Bedrock, Innervisions, Kompakt, and Watergate.

5) The Bass — *The Kaleidoscopic: Writing Histories Through the Collection* (Fri–Sun)

The Bass's collection show, on view since last August, pulls objects from different eras and cultures out of any fixed chronology and asks what changes when the same works are arranged, framed, and juxtaposed differently. Organized by Claudia Mattos, the museum's associate director of new media, the exhibition borrows the kaleidoscope as its organizing metaphor: turn it, and the collection resolves into a different picture.
It's a genuinely thoughtful counterweight to a beach weekend — and the galleries are a cool, quiet escape from the August heat. The museum is open Wednesday through Sunday, noon to 5 PM.
6) Lincoln Road Farmer's Market (Sun)
